About Springboard's Identity
Springboard is a non-profit consumer credit management organization formed as Consumer Credit Counseling Service of the Inland Empire (CCCS-IE) in 1974 by local business leaders and credit grantors.
Our mission:
To improve the lives and financial well-being of individuals and families by providing quality financial education and counseling.
We are members of the National Foundation for Credit Counseling (NFCC), established in 1951. NFCC membership guarantees that we will adhere to high standards of service delivery, counselor certification, fiscal integrity, and volunteer Board governance.
Springboard’s educational offerings and counseling services are available to any family or individual regardless of race, creed, gender or income.
Almost ten years ago, we changed our name to Springboard to reflect our national presence. We are still also known as Consumer Credit Counseling Service of the Inland Empire.
