Position at Springboard: Education Coordinator

Michelle Mealey is a remarkable educator who brings passion and the highest level of professionalism to Springboard’s mission of promoting and providing financial literacy for all.  Michelle joined Springboard in 2004, and is an advocate for providing sustainable consumer education to every generation of learner.

Michelle conducts youth financial literacy seminars at local schools, deploys Springboard’s adult learning curriculum on a broad range of financial topics, and teaches senior citizens how to spot scams and protect their identities. Michelle has been a featured presenter at workshops sponsored by the Mayor of Riverside, First 5 San Bernardino, the City of Rancho Cucamonga and Community Action Partnership.

Michelle is certified as a Consumer Credit Counselor by the National Foundation for Credit Counseling (NFCC). Michelle has also served as the local Program Manager and Chairperson for the NFCC’s “Be Money Wi$e” Youth Financial Literacy Poster Contest, which provides a unique opportunity to introduce students, parents, and teachers to the importance of wise money management.
